Born in 1990 in Canada, Olivia Chow is a curator and artist living and working in Hong Kong. She received her BFA degree from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada in 2012 and is currently an Assistant Curator at Para Site.
Chow has been actively involved within the art community of Edmonton, Canada where she curated Gastrosophy in 2014 and co-curated Everything On Sale project in 2013. She also co-exhibited Sightings in 2014 and Nickelodeon in 2015 at the 1st bi-annual Nuit Blanche Edmonton, among others. She was Lead Production Supervisor of The Works Art and Design Festival from 2012 to 2014 and was a member of The Drawing Room, an experimental art studio and salon.
Chow’s practice draws inspiration from her relationship with the everyday domestic activities and social encounters in the culturally complex contemporary world we live in.
