Born in 1990, Mark Chung is an artist who mainly works with found images (both still and moving), living and working in Hong Kong. He often imposes or emphasises meanings though amplification/distortion/dissolution of certain aspects of the images and transforms the contacts with the installation of the images.
Chung relates intimate and personal experiences with subjects like memory, collective experiences and current ideologies. His installation, videos and images are direct and concise responses to his own sentimentality.
